Conference FORS2D – Perspectives of forestry and related sectors as drivers of sustainable development in the post-Covid era
12/11/21On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Faculty of Forestry University of Banja Luka and 30 years of PFE „Šume Republike Srpske“ ad Sokolac, with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations – UN FAO and the International Union for Conservation of Nature – IUCN, we organize an International Scientific Conference entitled “Forest science for sustainable development FORS2D – Perspectives of forestry and related sectors as drivers of sustainable development in the post-Covid era”. The country of virgin forests, unique landscapes, traditional and sustainable forestry and vast biodiversity will give a unique opportunity to scientists worldwide to discover the country and Banja Luka, together with sharing their research results and experiences to a wide scientific audience. The Conference will bring together the most prominent invited speakers and other participants, who will present the latest research and address the key topics in forestry and related sectors.
You will be able to participate live or online in an interactive conference experience, and we welcome submissions of the papers under the following thematic areas:
1. Nature-inspired solutions
2. Forest and sustainable development in the light of climate change
3. A modern and competitive forestry sector
4. Let’s green, be seen
5. Innovative value chains and sociological aspects in forestry and related sectors
All submitted and accepted abstracts will be printed in the Collection of Abstracts, while the received scientific papers, after acceptance and review, will be published in scientific journals (free of charge): South-East European Forestry – SEEFOR or Bulletin of the Faculty of Forestry University of Banja Luka.
